How to Edit the Locations Placemark from the Yelp for iPhone App

Sometimes, when waltzing around Yelp on iPhone, you'll sometimes see incorrectly mapped businesses being marked at some other location. You can fix this listing for the correct location, by following the directions in this article.

STEPS

OPEN THE YELP APP.

LOGIN TO THE YELP FOR IPHONE APP, WITH YOUR YELP CREDENTIALS, IF YOU HAVEN\'T DONE SO ALREADY.

TAP THE HOME BUTTON FROM THE BLACK BAR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN.

TAP THE SEARCH BOX ABOVE THE MAIN WINDOW.

TYPE THE BUSINESS NAME AND LOCATION INTO THE SEARCH BOXES TO SEARCH FOR THE BUSINESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO THE LOCATION OF.

TAP THE EXACT BUSINESS YOU\'D LIKE TO THE LOCATION OF. After doing so, it'll bring up the business' Yelp page.

TAP THE BUTTON THAT LOOKS LIKE AN ARROW SHOOTING OUT OF A RECTANGULAR BOX FROM THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE SCREEN.

TAP THE BUSINESS SELECTION.

LOCATE THE BOX CALLED "ADDRESS AND MAP LOCATION" WHICH SHOULD NOW BE AT NEARLY THE CENTER OF THE SCREEN.

TAP THE BOX UNDERNEATH THE "ADDRESS AND MAP LOCATION" TITLE.

TAP THE ADJUST LOCATION TAB.

DRAG THE MAP AROUND WITH YOUR FINGER UNTIL THE BUSINESS IN PROPERLY PLACED. The placemark itself isn't able to be dragged, but by moving the map, the placemark will move, and even the slightest movement will affect it's placement.

TAP THE DONE BUTTON WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED MOVING THE MARKER.

FLICK THE SCREEN DOWNWARDS TO SCROLL THE LISTING OF ALL AVAILABLE PLACES TO THE VERY BOTTOM-MOST ITEM.

TAP THE BUTTON UNDERNEATH "NOTES FOR THE YELP TEAM".

TYPE "ED MAPPED LOCATION", AND, IF THE ADDRESS ITSELF HAS BEEN ADJUSTED IN THE MEANTIME, TYPE "ED [[ THE BUSINESS INFORMATION FROM THE YELP FOR IPHONE APP|ADDRESS AND CORRESPONDING MAPPED LOCATION".

TAP THE SUBMIT BUTTON FROM THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE SCREEN.
TIPS
It normally takes most people a week or two (if properly placed) for the location to be permanently placed at your specified location, so don't worry if it hasn't been moved after a few days, although more-active reviewers (who are also more positively-voted reviewers) could have their corrections made quicker (a few days).
On Android version only, they have a way to turn on a Satellite image of the area. Yelp is refusing to add this feature to their iPhone app at the present time). On the map on the Android version, tap the checkmark box to the left of the word "Satellite" and wait until the picture is fully loaded, before moving the map around.
